For students in the BA Music Informatics / Musicology course in the 3rd and 5th semesters (Module: Empirical Music Research I), in the MA Music Informatics course in the 1st semester to catch up on the requirements for the Cognitive Neuroscience of Music module. Can be taken as an elective in the BA Music Informatics / Musicology degree program.
Practical tools not only for critically reading research papers in systematic musicology, music psychology and music cognition, but also for doing your own research in accordance with good scientific and ethical standards. Philosophy of science, experimental design, data analysis, research, scientific ethics, writing empirical theses, publishing.
Note: The course takes place in English.
